This original
knotwork design painting shows Alpine wildflowers intertwined with barbed
wire. The flowers include Columbines, Bear Matt, Columbia Virgins Bower,
Alpine Vetch, Dog Violets, Blue-eyed Grass and Alpine Lungwort. This painting
is the second painting in a series featuring flowers intertwined with
various forms of fencing. This is the thirteenth mandala in the Celtic Mandala Series.
