This original knotwork design painting is a celebration of the raven. The raven is important to the Celts, Norse and North American Indians. Close examination of the corn reveals that the ravens have been dining on the ears. Ravens are also important to Elantu … they have been landing on the ground near her and dancing for her since she was three years old. Ravens represent the balance between the spiritual and the physical world and thus they are the messengers between the spirit world and the world of the living. This is the eleventh mandala in the Celtic Mandala Series.
