This original knotwork design painting shows three hunting owls. The knotwork by the wings represent the vortexes produced by the owls' wings. The knotwork along the outside of the design represent the hunting patterns of the owls. Surrounding the owls are two sets of traditional Celtic bird designs, yellow and red. This original design won “Best Traditional Knotwork Design” in an International competition. This is the second mandala in the Celtic Mandala Series.
