This original knotwork design painting shows three stags in a field of red roses. The stags and roses are surrounded by a field of brown keywork and spirals. There are additional knotwork and roses in each corner of the design. This original design was constructed to honor a family of dear souls - old friends of ours. The stags represent the father, as well as his three sons. The roses represent the mother. Notice the roses hold the design together and cherish the stags. The brown spiral line within the keywork is constructed of a single line and represents the eternity of the family. This is the fifth mandala in the Celtic Mandala Series.
